CFITMAX – The Ultimate Isolation Ball Valve for MGPS
The CFIT Max 42 mm Isolation Ball Valve is created to meet the expanding requirements of healthcare projects that may require mid-to-high capacity gas control in sophisticated MGPS design. The internal full-bore passage is also designed to keep the flow of vital medical gases, including oxygen, compressed air and vacuum, constant and steady in all areas of the building including surgical areas, emergency and specialty wards without disrupting the flow or causing a change in pressure. The size is especially suitable in intermediate branch sizes linking centralized pipeline networks to wings or sub-manifolds at the hospital. It provides the best balance between space-efficiency and throughput where system designers are allowed to route gases without compromising performance.
Constructed of high strength nickel-plated brass, the valve has remarkable resistance to internal gas corrosion and external surroundings, despite being in the humid or heavy traffic utility tunnels. Its internal parts are a chrome-finishing ball mechanism, which functions with accuracy, aided by a PTFE seating surfaces, which offers a gas tight seal both in an open and closed posture. The valve can smooth out and stay intact regardless of whether it is actuated a couple of times a year or a couple of times a week to have zone isolation. The quarter-turn lever is ergonomically designed and does not need a lot of force, which makes it appropriate to be used by medical personnel or maintenance personnel in the case of routine or emergency conditions.
The compression-end design makes installation safe, clean and fast since there is no use of open flame or hot works, something necessary in oxygen-enriched or flammable areas. Can be taken as 100 per cent in line with international MGPS standards and thoroughly tested to fit the requirements of CE and RoHS, the 42 mm design fits well within both the new and existing healthcare systems. Whether installed in an independent ICU block or as a part of a larger, multi-wing hospital network, this valve is a reliable choice in terms of isolation, controlled distribution and medical-level reliability, and a go-to choice among project engineers and contractors working on mission-critical gas delivery systems.
